Thanks to the Team of KOGEKA in Geel, Belgium!

Dear Belgian Friends!

We remember very well sitting together with you in that pub near Geel a couple of years ago: Rogier, Fons, Emiel, Alex and a lot of colleagues more. We were for three reasons in a very good mood then. First of all you were great company. It was funny and nice being there with you. Secondly, there was this marvellous Belgian Beer. And finally we were in a good mood because we became a bit euphoric because of the idea of doing something together with you.
Maybe CNC, some project. We have already had partnerships. The EU will support us for sure. Won???t be a big problem. Cheers, let???s have another round!

Well, how many teachers from all over Europe have been sitting ever since in pubs just like us having ideas, having visions?

We did it.
We together simply started what has become the biggest and most successful Comenius project ever.

Sabine Lioy, representative of German National Agency for Comenius, said that this project went beyond the limits of everything until now in both: size and quality. It was incredible what had happened within that project concerning the intercultural and the technical level. Moreover she replied: ???One thing should be quite clear: The Train for Europe is the Cr??me de la Cr??me, this should not intimidate anybody. This project is far beyond normal.???. You can read all that in a German newspaper. Can we get a bigger compliment for our work?

We would like to thank you for giving us the opportunity of working together with you and Europe. Without you and the good vibrations in 2004 the ???Train for EUROPE??? would not have existed. We would like to thank you very much for showing us your country, your culture and for the very good time we had with you. We are very grateful that you made it possible to present the ???Train for EUROPE??? in the European Parliament. That was the final touch, the icing of the cake. We never will forget this!

Rogier and Fons!
From our point of view ??? and from the European one as well (we are sure) ??? it is rather sad that you are going to retire so soon. There are many projects to be made. But, what about coordinating our ???Train for EUROPE ??? reloaded???? You both are the very best men for jobs like that. Think about it, you???re always welcome!

Thanks to the whole team of KOGEKA, especially to the headmaster Mr Marc s???Jegers, to Rosemarijn, Rogier, Fons and Johan for organising the meeting, to Emiel, our best friend Alex and all the others who have done a great job!

Keep the European fire burning!

Many Greetings
to all of you,
The German Delegation
