Drawings Locomotive 1
« on: October 29, 2012, 01:07:02 PM »
Hallo together  :)

All drawings of the Locomotive A1 are finishd and ready for pruduction.  :D

If there are some questions or problems, pleace contact me as fast as you can... We have only 3 months to pruduce the parts.

The partlist and the Train Assembly are still in process. I think we can finish it in the end of this week.

To the Single parts:

1x Undergarriage: Stainless Steel

1x Tail and Frontbogie: Aluminium

1x Backsheet: Stainless Steel

4x Axis: Steel

8x Wheels: Brass (if you don't have brass, you can use bronce)

1x Train Cover: plexiglass or something similar (IS will know...)

Extraweights: I'd preferd to use lead, because its 40% heavier than steel. But if you don't have lead, you can use Steel or stainless steel.
The Extraweights 70 is for the Botom of the Extraweights and you have to produce it only once.
The Extraweights 45 is to produce 9 times.
You will see it on the assembly, why we need two diferent Extraweights...  ;)

standard parts: will be listed in the partlist

greez and a nice day

Janick

Janick,

I would like to have the program files of that (the technical drawings).
So we can make the new cnc programs.

Hello  :)

The Romanian team has to do the wheels. Our question is: should the wheels have a M4 threaded hole, as in the drawings? This is something new and this is why we have to ask, just to be sure.

Thanks!  :)

hi christiana

yes this is correct :) this is the new solution, witch we disided with SE, NL and CH, to fix the wheels on the axis. We position the wheel on the axis and screw it with an M4 grub screw on the flat milled pocket on the axis. (see Axis drawing).

Probably on Monday (5.november) i will post the partlist and the Assembly of the train in the forum so you can see, how it works...
