update RF-signal
« on: November 28, 2012, 02:16:02 PM »
Hi all

This is Brent form Belgium i will give a update of my work and i also have a few questions.

The testing of my RF-transmitter and RF-reciever are over and now I'm making my schematics and boards in eagle and they are almost ready.
I will post them here on the forum when they are ready.

The deadline of 5 December for sending my prototype print to the Dutch will normally succeed, otherwise I will let them know. I'm also going to send the visual basic programmes of Nico to them as quickly as possible.

But I want to know of the contacs in the sending panel are normally open or normally closed?

For the prints I want to use a 9V adapter and for the battery in the wagon I would like to use a 9V rechargeable battery and I would know of this is okey for everybody?

greetings

Hello Brent,
thank you very much for your update! ;)

For the switches Im waiting an answer from the panel & desk group, but I think they are NA.
For the battery, if you need a 9 V supply, I think 9V battery is ok (perhaps just a little big) and each country will chose if use a rechargeable or a normal one.
I have two questions about your prototype.
1) How many devices do you think it will be possible to have in St Polten? In other words, it will be possible test the system on 3, 4, or all 24 vagons?
2) We need to know the dimensions of  all the devices to put on the vagon asap to arrange the place.

Greetings

Hello Brent,
I'm here again!
The switches are NO (normally open).

Hello all

Thanks Michele and Marc
and your questions:
1. I will try to test the system in all the wagons.
2. I heard that I have a place of 120/50mm and a height of 20mm in the wagon so my print will fit in there.
