LEONARDO partnership
« on: January 30, 2008, 03:43:47 AM »
The following partners are involved:
Austria [FUL], Austria [STP], Germany, Malta, Portugal, Spain & Turkey

Dear friends,

As you may already know,
we would like to split the moulding part in a separate LEONARDO project.

The general idea is to produce a work piece (e.g. with a magic gimmick function and/or a very special design) by plastic moulding.

So it's a very special technical project with practical elements and it will be only interesting for partner schools which are teaching tool makers or plastic moulding technology skills. In that case the project will suit to your school perfectly. Otherwise we would advise against strongly ...

The different process steps for building up the mould will be the result of common planning and manufacturing based on a division of labour. Each partner school will provide the project with its best knowledge and manufacture equipment. The mould will be ready at the final meeting for producing special designed plastic work pieces.

Unfortunately the deadline for LEONARDO mobility will be at 08/02/2008.
It's not possible for me to prepare the application for that kind of LEONARDO in time.
I'm to busy at the moment.

But there is a new type LEONARDO partnerships (similar to COMENIUS).
Deadline for application will be 15/02/2008. I will try to prepare the application therefore in time.

The application will be once more a lot of work. And I want to go sure first, that there are enough schools, who are able to participate in that LEONARDO before I'm going to start with the application.

Please give me a short feedback asap, if you would like to participate ...

So,
it's time to heat the moulding machine injector!

Many greetings

Dear friends,

Welcome to the LEONARDO partnership!

Today I have sent you the first beta version of the LEONARDO application.

The application is not complete yet, there are still a lot of blanks inside,
but you will see a lot of details which are relevant to you:

(1)
Have a look at your school section in 3.X.
Are the names and datas of all persons complete and correct?
Any mistakes? Anything missing? Phone, mobil phone, fax, mail, whatever?
--> I need all your datas urgently!!!

(2)
It would be an great advantage, if you are able to cooperate with an associated partner,
especially with a moulding technology company in your local region.
Do you know such a company in your region?
Please add the company datas in field 3.5 of your school section.

@ Jaume, Spain
As we already have talked about, I have added Delphi company to the list as associated partner,
because there should be a chance to cooperate with the German Delphi plant in our region.
Do you see a chance for cooperation with that company? That would be great for my students ???

@ Ray, Malta
I have added the two moulding companies from Malta, but I don???t know the details.
Can you add the datas to the application?

(3)
Have a look at the section 6.1.
We are seven partners in the project. It would be very nice, if we can have five (short) meetings, 4 - 5 days are enough. The meetings in Barcelona and Germany are at the same time as we meet already for COMENIUS. Do you agree with the plan? Are you ready for the meetings in Spain, Portugal, Germany, Malta and Austria?

(4)
Have a look at the section 6.3.
Please choose the best number for you concerning the mobilities.
It???s possible, that every of the partners choose different numbers in the same project.
Have a look at Annex H and you will see the amounts for 12 or 24 mobilities.
German delegation is thinking about 24 mobilities, that means approx. 5 persons per meeting.

Please have a look at the application and hurry up, time is very short!

If you would like to add, change or correct something please use a ???virtual??? pen with red colour.
Feel free to send me back your corrected version of the application.

That???s all for now, but will come back to you very soon  ;)

Many greetings

Dear friends of moulding technology,

Have a look at your mail postbox,
you will find two important documents:

(A)
The final version of application for our new LdV partnership ???European CNC-Network ??? Moulding for EUROPE???.
--> file name: ???P_LdV_Moulding_final.doc???

(B)
The overwiew concerning our Equipment and Possibilities.
--> file name: ???LdV-Equipment_and_Possibilities.PDF???

I have already sent the master application online version to the German National Agency!
That means that we are not able to change anything now.
We all have to use the same application doc!

Some important notes:

(1)
You can find the address of your LdV National Agency at
http://ec.europa.eu/education/programmes/llp/national_en.html

(2)
Please complete and sign the declaration (in section 4, page 19).
The copy submitted to each National Agency has been signed by the person authorised
to enter into legally binding commitments on behalf of the applicant institution concerned
(or a person duly authorised by the legal representative).

(3)
Please fill in the name of your school/institution in part 1.2 on the cover page.

(4)
Please add the pdf mentioned above (equipment and possibilities) in appendix of the application.

(5)
Please submit the application to your National Agencies by 15 February 2008 (date as postmark).

(6)
Please do not change any of the information contained in the final application; all copies must be identical,
except for the declaration and the fields under 1.2 which should be filled separately by all applicant institutions on their copies of the application.

(7)
Please note that each National Agency may request applicants to submit additional information in support of a Partnership application. Each applicant should check by phone or on the website of its National Agency before submitting the form.

(8)
In Germany we have to send the application plus 3 indentical copies to the NA.
Please check how many copies (and whatelse ever) you have to send to your National Agency.

Thanks!

Many greetings
