Hello train family,

I hope you are all fine.
In attachment there are the final drawings of the wheel and axel (after Celje discussions) from Italian students.

Greetings

Michele

Hi Michele

Great work - say well done to the students!
Would it be possible to make one of the drawings clearer (higher definition).
It is the left end of "draft alberino ruote".
The sizes are small and lose defintion when expanded.

Dear Michele,
On the outside of the wheel there is missing one dimension of the ''groove''. Please check it!

Greetings

Dear Goga,
is correct, one dimension is missing!!  :-[

The “groove” is positioned in the middle of the ring surface.

See you soon in Kuopio  :)

Hi Michele,

Do you already have some drawings of the new axle dimensions, Your group made some changes, Am I correct when the dimension of 80 becomes 82?

Grtz

Hi Bram,
my students are producing the new axle in order to curry out an assembly test and the next week we will upload on the forum the new drawings. Anyway the dimension of 80 mm becomes 82 but this is only one of the variations we made.

Regards

Michele

Hello Michele,

I saw the STEP file of the wheel zipped in attachment of your first posting (26-06-2012), but I'm not sure if this is still the current version.

Would you please so kind and could you check - maybe it's necessary to post the current version of the wheel again for us ...

And please don't forget to upload all the wheel and axle drawings also to the CAD/CNC Gallery.

Thanks a lot!

Many greetings
