Alias names
« on: January 26, 2008, 10:10:08 PM »
Dear European friends!

Regarding to some of your alias names in our forum and our decision at our second meeting in Ivrea I would like to ask you for choosing your country ID in square brackets and your real name (eg. ???[DE] Heinz Wildgrube??? without any dot etc.), because it would be much easier for us to identify, who has posted in the forum. There are some very special alias names registered in the forum and nobody knows exactly to which person (or partner) this name belongs.

Maybe it???s not easy for you to find the square brackets ar your keyboard. In this case please do not worry, you can copy&paste the sign out of this mail. Please have a look at the previos passage and you will find that special sign in blue colour ;-)

So, in case you haven???t done this task already, I would like to ask you now for changing the alias name in the way mentioned above. And ??? of course ??? please instruct your students for checking their aliases in the same way.

It???s very easy to change the alias:

(1) Login with your username and password.

(2) Click in the menue on ???Profil???.

(3) Go in ???Modify Profil??? to ???Account Related Settings???.

(4) Change your alias in the ???Name??? field.

Thanks!

Let us move the ???Train for EUROPE???!

So long,
many greetings
